The Paris bus system is a bit more complicated than the city's underground Metro system. However, the bus is a more aesthetic way to get around as it serves as somewhat of a sightseeing tour, rather than traveling completely underground on the Metro. Fortunately, Bus and Metro tickets are interchangeable. A single ticket is a hefty FF8; to save money purchase and packet or carnet of ten tickets at a more reasonable FF52. The Balabus serves major tourist sites on Sundays from mid-April to the end of September (stops marked Bb).
